A FEW THINGS YOU MIGHT BE WONDERING

Good questions.
Clear answers.

Do I need speaking experience?

No. Beginners are welcome. You can start by observing a meeting and build your participation as you become comfortable.

Will I have to speak on my first visit?

You can listen and observe. If you feel ready, you may have the opportunity to try an impromptu speaking activity. You don’t need to prepare a speech.

Is visiting free?

Our published Meetup events welcome guests free of charge. Check the event listing when reserving your place.

What language are meetings held in?

Our club promotes English public speaking. If you have questions about language level or participation, contact the organisers before attending. You do not need a perfect accent to have something worth sharing.

How much does membership cost?

Contact the membership team for current dues, any joining fee, payment periods and what membership includes. Visiting a meeting is a good way to learn more before joining.

How often do you meet?

We usually meet on the second and fourth Tuesday of each month. Holidays and special events can change the schedule, so check the Next Meeting page and Meetup listing.

How do I become a member?

Visit a meeting and speak with the membership team. They will explain the registration process, fees and how to begin your learning journey.

Is the venue accessible?

The published entrance instructions include a lift to the second floor. For step-free access requirements or other assistance, please contact the organisers to confirm the arrangements.
